The function of this Meetup is to help facilitate the gathering of the TRU people living in the Southern Nevada arena. A site to congregate, plan gatherings, express concerns, make friends, blow off steam and even form kinderds. In short we are here to strengthen the deserts Heathen communities.

The purpose of this group is to embark upon the mutual study of our desert insect fauna. Topics of focus shall include: systematics, taxonomy, life cycle data, regional distributions, and rearing information/instruction. Regular collecting trips shall be in order and collection records may be shared. Specimens may be traded. Additional activities may include the collaboration on research papers with potential publication at a later date.
